TSOT #119

Hi, we have a great sketch for you this week at Try Stampin' On Tuesday. I went for a Christmas card as I wanted to add to my stash. As per usual, I used retired jolly holiday dsp for this card, in the hopes that some time this year I will deplete my stash :)

I flipped the sketch and used my framelits labels to create the center. My greeting is from 'four the holidays' and my colours are cherry cobbler, old olive and very vanilla. This is a fairly clean card and could be easily mass produced.

TSOT #118 - Together Forever

Hi! It's yet again time for another sketch over at Try Stampin' On Tuesday. I REALLY struggled with this one, but once I chose my colours I seemed to find my way :)

Here's the sketch:

And my creation:

I chose a neutral palette of white and crumb cake. I embossed my panels with 2 different embossing folders and my sentiment is from MDS and printed. I added three cherry cobbler hearts punched from the owl punch for a pop of colour. I'm really happy with the end result even if it was a scary sketch for me, but hey, it's great to be challenged right?

Now over to you, it's great seeing what you come up with, and I cant wait to see the amazing creations you create with this sketch! Also if you still need some more inspiration, check out the other design teams creations here

Thanks for looking and any questions, just ask :)

TSOT #117 - Pleasant Poppies

Hello again! Well my fingers are completely frozen as I write this - winter is defiantly on its way!
Any way, it's time again for another sketch over at Try Stampin' On Tuesday. I initially struggled with this one, but once I changed I from rectangle to square it all fell into place quite quickly.

Here's the sketch:

And my creation:

I used my pleasant poppies to create my image, which was quickly water coloured. I love how you can spend hours or minutes and get fabulous results when you watercolour. I stamped in crumb cake some splodges and writing from french foliage. I actually forgot the diagonal line - whoops, so my butterflies were my take on it :) If you have any questions, just ask.

Now over to you. Check out the other design team members creations and remember to post your card. I love seeing how every one sees and uses the sketch.

Thanks for looking :)

TSOT #116

Hi! It's time again for another sketch at Try Stampin' On Tuesday. I bought this cute dog stamp recently and thought I'd ink him up.

Here's the sketch:

And my card:

Sorry for the funny angle of the photo. I paper pieced this cute little guy with some scraps left on my table. I found this fun set of papers from Kaisercraft and this card came together relatively quickly - love that!

TSOT #115 - He Has Made Everything

Hi! Yep, it's time again for another sketch over at Try Stampin' On Tuesday and even though this was one I created, I was kinda stumped when I had to create my card.

Here's the sketch:

And my card:

I used a few scraps to create this one - which is always a bonus! My colours are wild wasabi, melon mambo, so saffron and crumb cake. The dsp is embossed with vine street, the circles are from my 'scrap' pile and the butterflies are punched out using the bitty butterfly punch in melon mambo dsp. My sentiment is from Verve stamps and a few pearls to finish it off.
